CW Beginner Class

Are you curious about using CW but didn’t know where to start? Have you wondered if CW might give you an advantage if you have a compromised antenna due to HOA restrictions? Do you have a Technician license and wondered how to use your CW privileges on 80, 40, and 15 meters? This workshop will give you some tips on how to get going and why you should consider adding CW as one of your operating modes. Examples of a straight key and paddle for electronic keying will be demonstrated and available for you to try. Low-cost CW radios will be on display. The tactical advantages of CW compared to voice will be discussed, including how little it can cost to get on the air.
