How to Join W7TBC
Follow these steps to become a member of the Thunderbird Amateur Radio Club. The whole process takes about 5 minutes.
Before You Start
- You need a valid FCC amateur radio license (any class)
- Have your callsign ready (e.g., K6OZY, WK7B)
- You will need your FCC Registration Number (FRN) — it is printed on your license

Create Your HamClubOnline Account
TBARC uses HamClubOnline (HCO) to manage membership. If you do not already have an HCO account, you will need to create one first.
Go to the HCO registration page and enter your callsign in the box. Click Submit. The system will look up your FCC license and ask you to verify your identity with your FRN.
Already have an HCO account? Skip to Step 2. If you have joined another ham radio club through HCO before, you already have an account — just log in with your email and password.

Log In to HamClubOnline
Once your account is created, log in at hamclubonline.com using the email and password you set during registration. The login form is in the top-right corner of the page.
Forgot your password? Use the “Forgot Password?” link on the HCO login page to reset it.

Find and Join W7TBC
After logging in, you will see the main menu. Click “Apply for Membership with a HamClubOnline Club” to search for our club. Look for “Thunderbird Amateur Radio Club” or callsign W7TBC and request to join.

Pay Your $25 Annual Dues
Once you have joined W7TBC on HCO, pay your $25 annual membership dues through the HCO payment system. You can access it from the “Pay My Club Dues” link in the top menu, or go directly to the payment page. Enter your callsign or email and click Submit. Payment is accepted via PayPal or credit card.
That is it! Once payment is received, you are officially a member. You will be added to the club roster and receive access to our Discord, mailing list, and member resources.

Welcome to W7TBC! Here is what happens next:
- You will receive a welcome email with club information
- New members: pick up your W7TBC welcome kit at the next general meeting
- Join our Discord for chat, net check-ins, and announcements
