    Got Pneumatic Antenna Launcher Plans??

Anyone have the plans to build one of those pneumatic launchers used to shoot a tennis ball or PVC plug when setting up an antenna in the trees?

I want to build one and would appreciate any information you can provide.

Steve, Ask Bruce Kabana WB7SRC. He built one that we've used for FD & Special event stations. Should be able to get his contact info from the Club roster.

Another great way to put an antenna in the trees, with great accuracy, is a simple bow and arrow. One drills a hole near the back of the arrow, adds a few heavy nuts up front, wrapped with duck tape. The hole get a high quality nylon twine about .062 diameter. This is used to pull up your heavier "rope." Wish I had some of those skinny tall palm trees I see here and there.
