The Thunderbird Amateur Radio Club (TBARC) is a general interest amateur radio club that serves North and Northwest Phoenix, Glendale, and Peoria, Arizona.

    • TBARC is an "Elmering" club. We try to make new hams feel at home and provide support for them in all areas of ham radio.
    • TBARC meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at Room 147 of the North Phoenix Campus of Northern Arizona University, 15451 North 28th Avenue, Phoenix (northwest corner of I-17 and West Greenway Road). Check the General Meetings page for a map to the meeting location.

Check this website for the latest news and information about future events, club activities and programs.

We have prepared a trifold brochure (.pdf) with information about the club. Please feel free to download it to view or print.

If you're interested in becoming a member of TBARC, please visit the Membership page.

For further information about the Thunderbird Amateur Radio Club, send an e-mail to info@w7tbc.org.

    NEEDING CLEANUP

The following is a list of many common and uncommon web sites that contain a tremendous amount of resource material for ham radio operators. The larger sites may have some broken links. We attempt to review the sites occasionally to determine if they are still active. We offer no guarantee that these sites will remain available and have an operable link. If you find any sites inoperative, have errors, or need updating, please contact Webmaster.

Thanks to Bob Lowry, K7UNL, and others for their efforts in compiling this list. Satellite links were provided by Johan Reinalda, WG7J. Local club information supplied by SHORT SKIP a publication of the West Valley ARC. Any duplications are accidental.

You are also encouraged to visit www.w7asc.org. It has links to local club websites and more information about the ham shack at the Arizona Science Center.
