ARRL Field Day 2010: Field Day 2010 is history. Teams are now tallying up the scores and stowing the gear for the next great adventure. "Team TBARC" has packed up and returned to the Phoenix area after another successful experience at "Papa's Place" in the outskirts of Flagstaff. Israel Vicente has furnished a trove of photos of the outing and they can be viewed by selecting Field Day Gallery A: on the sidebar. Jim Puza added six photos from his cache. Team "Two Delta AZ" was conspicuously absent this year with some regret. You can check out that Field Day Special in Gallery C. Spring Social April 2010: For those who may have missed it, I have included the photo Gallery for the Spring Picnic Social in the Park. Check out Gallery B for the photos. Tuesday Night Net: The TBARC VHF/UHF net has moved from Wednesday night to Tuesday night at 7:30 PM. You can check in on either the 2-meter repeater located on John C. Lincoln Hospital - North Mountain, on 146.700 - 600 KHz 162.2 tone, or the 70 Cm repeater located on John C. Lincoln Hospital - Deer Valley on 446.150 -5M 100Hz tone. All are hams welcome. ARIZONA WORKED ALL COUNTIES: After twelve years of drought, Arizona once again has an Arizona Worked All Counties Award. AZ-WAC, sponsored by the Yavapai Amateur Radio Club in Prescott, Arizona, is honored to be sponsoring this award. AZ-WAC began October 1, 2009 and is ongoing. Driving Directions: Enter the Thunderbird campus at the Country Gables Drive intersection on 59th Ave. The traffic light is a quarter mile south of W. Greenway Road. Proceed East on Country Gables Drive. Turn left at the first drive and proceed past the Activity Center. Turn into the parking lot to your left. The Wilson Bldg is to the West of the parking lot. Proceed to the Wilson Bldg and Room 31. No food or drink is allowed in the building except water. See the map below.
