Technician License Course
A training course sponsored by
Thunderbird Amateur Radio Club
This is an entry level course for anyone wanting to get started
with "ham" radio. You will learn all you need to know to
receive an FCC technician level license. No previous
experience is required. No course fee. No exam fee.

A FCC Technicians Class amateur radio class is being offered to all interested folks. This is being hosted by the Thunderbird and West Valley clubs.
Start Date: June 1, 2016. Duration: 7 weeks. Time: 7:30 pm. Class sessions: 90 minutes in duration. Location: Surprise Public Safety Bldg., 14250 W. Statler Plaza.
Course material "ARRL Ham Radio License Manual Level 1 Technician Third Edition" $29.95 + tax payable at the 1st day of class for registered students. Please indicate if you wish to purchase the book at the first day of class so we can reserve one for you. There is also a $15.00 charge for taking the FCC test at the end of the seven week course.

Tech Class
TBARC held a Technician Class starting March 24 at the LDS Church. The class ran for 7 weeks, meeting on Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm. The last day was on safety and then the test was given.

TBARC hosted a General class that ran from September 20th through November 15th, 2014, at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, 59th Ave & Greenway, Glendale, Arizona. Last session was a VE Test.

Technician Class
TBARC held a Technician class which will teach you what you need to know to get the first level of amateur radio license. The classes started on June 10, 2014 and are held every Tuesday evening for 6 weeks. Cost is $15.

Extra Course
TBARC hosted an Extra class course Saturday mornings 9:00 am - 12:00 noon, starting March 2nd, at Thunderbird School of Global Management, 59th Ave & Greenway, Glendale, Arizona. There were ten sessions through May 4. (The May 4 session was be a license exam.)
